[00:00:05] Back on a new breed of golf like a brief break charm.

[00:00:10] On a Tuesday morning Tina Turner.

[00:00:13] She's not coming home. There was a period of time with Tina. Just phenomenal to listen to her songs. I love her songs.

[00:00:25] We're Pitbull nowadays but I love listening to Tina Turner Tina and Janet Jackson had that period time now.

[00:00:35] A guy who has spent a lot of time listening to Janet Jackson and Tina Turner joins us now. The owner operator of Pine Valley orthotics Stu Sackowitz, my friend Stu Sackowitz.

[00:00:45] Good morning. How are you?

[00:00:47] Michael how are you. Great.

[00:00:48] I couldn't be better thanks. How about you.

[00:00:51] Everything is great. I don't know about Tina Turner or me but my wife thought maybe she would have had even more energy than she had.

[00:00:58] Hey before we get to go on about the orthotics. How are you feeling? How's your health these days.

[00:01:04] My health is great. I actually shot 73 the other day. So when you say well everything feels good right. Yeah.

[00:01:11] Well you had gone through that period of time I don't know whether everybody heard the story but you'd gone through a period of time where in a sort of a fluke, your health kind of went a little sideways and now and now you've kind of got I'm going to take that as a full recovery. Is that is it fair to say it's a full recovery.

[00:01:28] I would say so yes.

Micheal:[00:01:30] So let's get into the pine valley orthotics, you know I'm a big fan and I've been wearing them for a while. I love these orthotics and as much time as I'm spending on my feet and what I'm doing and teaching and playing and doing all this other stuff these have been a real godsend for me. But let's talk about I know there's tons of success stories that you have with the Pine Valley orthotics. What is it that makes them so unique and so different?

Stu:[00:01:59] What really makes my orthotics different is the polymer that I invented which shoes are an energy return system. I tried many many different polymers which are the plastic and when you step down my orthotics it pushes back. It's not too hard it's not too soft. They're not drugstore in soles. These orthotics they will sell so just 95 percent of all feet. And when we do that you're going to and anatomically correct. You have a bad back and hips. Most of it starts with your feet.

Stu:[00:02:36] So as soon as I can get you standing straight if you have a bad back and you suffer with L4, L5 which most golfers do wear compressed immediately we relieve some of that strain on your lower back and you feel better. I've been making orthotics for the last 40 years. And I own shoe stores I work with 70 or 80 different doctors every day that's sending people home. They come from hours away from me to make them orthotics so I know a lot about feet, a lot about ailments and a lot of issues. Most news comes from feet. If you have plantar fasciitis, [inaudible] my orthotics my Pine Valley orthotics will help you. I just hit a milestone. I just hit 10000 10000 golfers wearing my orthotics in the one year period.

[00:03:31] My phone rings every sing every single day. Hey Stu I can't believe this. I don't want to buy them, I don't want to spend the money. But they are amazing.

Micheal:[00:03:40] Well congratulations on all that success Stu Sackowitz my guest this morning. The owner and inventor of Pine Valley orthotics. Let's talk a little bit about what it's doing for balance because I know that when I when I have those orthotics and I tend to get my balance in a much better position at address and it helps me make quite frankly a more functional motion as I go through the golf Ball. Is that something that when you were designing the orthotics that was that something that you were going for what was the what was sort of the quest when you created the orthotics with a with the golfer in mind.

Stu:[00:04:28] To be honest with you Michael I did this to people that have had bad back, bad knees bad hips and bad feet. Then I started modifying them a little bit and figured because I'm a golf crazy person, I had torn my own Achilles and I couldn't walk. So I kept modifying names and made them ten different times to get them to where I wanted. When I finally got them the way that I wanted I said you know I listened to your show for years and I was such a fan of yours that I have to take them show this to Michael Breed and see what he thinks.

Micheal:[00:05:04] You know I've got to I've got to interrupt you right there because that was one of the cool days for me. You show up onto the practice tee and explaining to me that you know this is something that you wanted to do and see if I'd be interested in it and I'm a soft sell guy and you basically said look try these tell me if they make a difference and if they do I'd love to talk to you about maybe you know being a part of the show. And let's not forget too that you brought a very nice bottle of wine for my wife which she and I were very grateful for. But you mentioned the success that you've had with 10000 golfers now wearing the Pine Valley orthotics and being successful with it. One of my favorite stories is Lance Sparrow who is the executive producer for CBS golf and football and Lance is a guy who I've known for a long time and he's had bad knees and backs his back has bothered him for years and he put those into his shoes. We were talking one day and I said you got to get these Pine Valley orthotics they're phenomenal and he listens to the show regularly and he put them in I saw him at the PGA championship and he said these things are unbelievable right with Jim Nantz was in the cart and that said hey can you send me some as well. You've got a lot of different people that have had success like that. Is there a story that you've got of an individual other than say Lance Barrow or somebody along those lines.

Stu:[00:06:36] My phone rings every single day and saying hey Stu I can't believe it. Thank you. My back feels better. My back hasn't gone out my Cycladic is gone. These are things that are really I really get a kick out of something unusual about my company also. You can call me here 8 6 6 4 4 3 7 4 6 3. I will answer the phone. Some days I get 50 phone calls. If I can't answer the phone I'll call you back. You can actually speak to me if you have no different issues with your back to your feet. I'd be thrilled to talk to anybody about my orthotics and how they'll help you.

[00:07:18] There's no many hundreds of companies, I'm proud of what I've done and the winners you know at this stage that would take that time and enjoy doing this but I really do.

Micheal:[00:07:29] I know you do and in fact you know what we've got a caller right now calling in. Let's go to let's go to Michigan and talk with Russ Russ good morning welcome to a new breed of golf you're on with Stu Sackowitz.

[00:07:41] Hi. Thanks for taking my call. My question for Stu is will these orthotics help arthritic foot. I've got an old hockey injury and I still like to put the bag on the shoulder and walk the course. And for the last couple of years now it's well I can't hire to get nine holes in. And I'm gimping and that's affecting my game the whole nine yards. So what would I do for an arthritic foot?

Micheal:[00:08:09] The minute you stepped down on my orthotics, were going to provide full contact with your entire foot. When we do that we get the stress off the heel and the ball your foot and you're going to feel way better. I hate to say this in the wrong way, most golf shoes are not made very well anymore. Years ago we had great support and golf shoes. It's not the case and there are certain brands out there that are worse than others. So when you put my orthotic in there into a golf shoe all of a sudden you're going to feel the support that you haven't felt in many years. Your feet will feel 20 years younger. You'll be able to go longer you'll be able to practice harder your feet will feel much better.

Micheal:[00:08:51] Here you go. Russ I appreciate you calling an 8 6 6 4 6 9 0 0 2 6 is our number. Stu what's the number that they can call 8 6 6 4 4 3 7 4 6 3.

Stu:[00:09:06] I answer my own phone. And if tis not, leave a message I'll call you back. I am proud of what I've done. I remember when I invented this orthotic I never did it to sell to sell them. I did it because I tore my own Achilles and couldn't walk and I didn't want to stop playing golf for a year and have surgery. I actually cured myself. So this is a reflection of me and my product. They come with a 30 day money back guarantee. If you don't like them I'll give you back your money gladly. I don't want anybody to spend money that they don't feel is worth the money I get back to about 1 to 2 percent.

Stu:[00:09:47] That's all I get back. Half of those people put them in they never even tried them. They just don't like the way they felt before they've been more willing to make that guaranteed everybody. They're not cheap. There's a coupon code if you enter breed at check-out you'll get 50 dollars off the purchase price that brings them down to a hundred and twenty nine dollars. They're not cheap, they're made in America. But the quality and what I put into these are products. There's a lot of value there and they will help your back, your knees and your feet.

Micheal:[00:10:18] That's the best one hundred twenty nine dollars you can spend. Let's take one more call here. Let's go to Mike in Illinois. Mike welcome to new breed of golf you're on with Stu Sackowitz

[00:10:35] Morning. I’m wearing orthotics now [inaudible] Got a real damaged right foot. And my question is I got mine right away when you started the show. I can't see a picture of the orthotic but my question is on the heel. I have a little [inaudible] area that would help bone spurs. What do you feel about the heel bones for?

Stu:[00:11:00] My orthotics are low profile orthotics which means they don't take up as much room is like a custom orthotic If I was to make that for you. So they sit in his shoes. Great. The little spur that you have on your heels should not be an issue in fact that shouldn't feel really really good. If they're going to feel great especially if you wear orthotics to start with. Most orthotics are very rigid. I think if you came to me in my store and I made you and I cast you for custom orthotics, they would be probably harder and more rigid than these. So the biomechanically the foot when you're walking on a golf course and making a shoulder turn and using the grand Ligonier feet to play golf, my orthotics is actually better than most Custom Orthotics.

[00:11:47] What site can we go to for the [inaudible].

[00:11:48] Pine valleyorthodics.com

Micheal:[00:12:05] Beautiful. Thank you Michael. I appreciate it and Stu, I thank you so much for your support of the show. Obviously it means a great deal to me and we continue a long friendship and obviously great success on your part. 10000 orthotics in a year is very impressive and obviously it speaks to the orthotic itself it's one of a kind and it makes a big difference in getting people out there not just playing golf but playing better golf.

Stu:[00:12:39] For all of you that have never met Michael breed this man is everything that he comes across on the radio. He's a gem and I cherish our friendship and a relationship. And thank you Michael.

Micheal:[00:12:51] Thank you very much. That's two Sackowitz, the owner inventor of the Pine Valley orthotics and if you're interested in getting yourself into what I think is the best orthotic on the market go to Pinevalleyorthodics.com. You can also dial 8 6 6 4 4 3 7 4 6 3
