DETAILS

This high MOI mallet design incorporates our patented counter balance weighting technology in the Lite Weight category. The D3-L is face balanced and has a double bend, heel mounted shaft orientation with a half shaft of offset. This putter features a cutting-edge design with a sound engineering purpose. The unique head design raises the center of gravity, which together with the elongated alignment line, encourages consistent sweet spot contact. The D3-L Lite-Weight putter uses a proprietary shaft with a 65 gram weight inserted in the grip end of the shaft. This creates the necessary counter weight to give you more control of your stroke, producing a balance point 75% higher than conventional putters to eliminate the wristy action in the stroke. The D3-L putter uses a Winn midsize grip to produce an extremely tacky, but firm feel

PENDULUM STROKE

Heavier Mass: The Heavy Putter's overall weight engages the body's larger stable muscles, resulting in a more consistent pendulum stroke.

CORE CENTER OF GRAVITY

Core Center of Gravity: The Heavy Putter's center of gravity is closer to the human body's core CG, resulting in greater stroke stability.

PASSIVE WRISTS

Higher Center of Gravity: The Heavy Putter's higher center of gravity reduces force on the wrists.

HIGHER BALANCE POINT

With a head mass just a few grams heavier than a conventional club, our Heavy Clubs get their name from the addition of the tour proven back weighting system found in every club we produce.

BACK-WEIGHTING SYSTEM

The 37% higher balance point produced by the back weighting system leads to improved body mechanics affecting the swing's plane, tempo, transition, impact and balance providing higher accuracy and control.

    My new putter

I like my putter. It performed well on my first outing. Only wish it were about 2 or 3 inches longer. I didn’t pay attention to the length when I made my purchase.

    Nice...can be better

I like the feel and my putting is more on line with no scuffs. I would have liked a larger grip offer, I may have to pay to put another grip on it. I do have a question, is the counter balance in the grip or the shaft?

Hi Jon, thank you for your feedback. The counter balance for most of our putters is located in the grip end of the shaft. I hope this clarifies.

    D3 Mallet Heavy Putter

Looks good. Improved my putting about 30%. It feels heaver than it really is. Judging the distance and stroke, is something that will take a lot of practice. Overall, satisfied with the putter.

    heavy putter

I did not like the original grip so I changed it. I like a thick putter grip. The putter is wonderful but it does have one drawback. When you are putting from off a green it has a tendency to catch the grass on your back stroke. Needs to close up the open back to prevent this.
