The Q2-M is a classic blade design incorporating our patented counter balance weighting technology in the Mid-Weight category. The putter features a toe-droop blade with a plumber's neck hosel and has a full shaft of offset. The Q2-M putter uses a proprietary shaft with a 200 gram weight inserted in the grip end of the shaft. This creates the necessary counter weight to give you more control of your stroke, producing a balance point 75% higher than conventional putters to eliminate the excess wrist action in the stroke. The Q2-M putter uses a Winn mid-size grip to produce an extremely tacky, but firm feel.

    Q2-M Heavy Putter

Tried twice on a putting green and found it wasn’t for me. It didn’t sufficiently offset my too-wristy stroke and I was short of the hole almost all the time. I asked about exchanging it for the lighter model and was told it is non-returnable. A shot in the dark that didn’t work! D. Owens

Hello David, Thank you for leaving an honest review. When it comes to the Heavy Putter® and their balancing technology, it does take a little practice to get used to as we have been playing years on a standard putter. They key to success with their putters is to line up and let the putter swing in a pendulum motion. Due to its weighting, this is a great place to start. Often times, we try to push the ball when switching over to a heavy putter which ends up causing many of our problems.

The putter is balanced and the extra weight makes the putting stroke smooth as silk. I would recommend this putter to anyone.

I guess you get what you pay for...

Well, first of all I had to send it back because it was very clunky. It took 10 days to get it back once it was shipped. I am convinced the "proprietary" shaft is the problem. Mine is still clunky. The sweet spot must be the size of a snow pea. Just about every time I hit a ball, there is a wooden/cheap/vibration sort of feel and noise. It is obvious that the shaft is the cause. If the $50 mistake I won't make again.

Hello Brian, Thank you for letting me know. I am glad that we were able to send a replacement. The issue actually does not lie in the shaft, but rather in the weight that is found in the grip end of the shaft. It is rare, but sometimes the epoxy used to secure the weight becomes dislodged during the curing time.
